The Ghana Publishing Company Limited (GPCL) has begun a nationwide public education campaign aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the Ghana Gazette and its significance in the legal and administrative landscape of the country.

The campaign, dubbed “Gazette 360”, seeks to demystify the concept of gazetting by shedding light on the processes, purpose, and importance of the gazette as an authoritative source of official government information. Gazette 360 also aims to sensitize the public and key stakeholders on the newly introduced enhanced security features embedded in the Gazette to curb the circulation and use of counterfeit documents.

As part of the campaign, GPCL is emphasizing its unique constitutional mandate as the sole institution authorized by law to publish the Government Gazette on behalf of the State. The Company is urging the public to avoid dealing with unauthorized third parties when seeking Gazette services, as such practices can result in fraudulent publications and legal complications.

Gazette 360 is not just an information campaign it is a national call to action.

The campaign will feature media engagements, stakeholder forums, outreach to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), and the use of traditional and digital platforms to reach every corner of the country.

GPCL says it is confident that Gazette 360 will disseminate knowledge about the Gazette, making it accessible and understandable to the average citizen. The ultimate goal is to foster transparency and build public trust in the gazetting process, and ensure that official information is used correctly and securely.

The Company is calling on all citizens, institutions, and stakeholders to support and participate in the campaign to make it a nationwide success.

Gazette 360 – Know it. Use it. Trust it.
